Pirates Ahoy is one of two ‘dress up shows’ I offer. It can be booked individually, or both Pirates Ahoy and the Buffalo Bill Show can be rotated through your event schedule.
In this show, a pirate crew is recruited from the audience at the start of each show to learn pirate jobs and go on an adventure together. The story is lead by me in pirate costume, but the kids are made the stars of the show, acting out simple roles and skits as we go. Audiences are charmed by the unique reactions kids bring, making every show a unique family experience. Up to 30 roles are available, though the show can work with any audience size, large or small. Each child in the audience is invited to pick a treasure from the treasure chest at the end of the show.
The footprint of this show is quite flexible, but an approx. 12×16 foot stage area plus seating for the audience is typical. The show can be performed on the ground, on risers, or on stages with audience access via front or side steps. I can provide a stage that is suited for the show to events in or near Texas, but providing it outside my region may require an additional fee for transportation.
